This Privacy Policy explains how Lullaby AI ("Lullaby AI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Lullaby AI mobile application and related websites (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Lullaby AI is a wellness and information tool designed to help parents and caregivers understand their baby's cries, track growth, and log daily activity. It does not provide medical advice.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information — such as your email address and any sign-in identifiers when you create an account.
• Baby profile information — for example a baby's name or nickname, date of birth, and weight entries you choose to record.
• Activity logs — feeds, sleep, diaper changes, mood notes, and similar entries you add.
• Cry recordings — short audio clips you record so the app can analyze them (see Section 4).
• Support messages — the name, email, title, and description you send through our support form or by email.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & device data — app interactions, device type, operating system, app version, and similar diagnostic information.
• Analytics — aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand how features are used and improve the app.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide core features — cry analysis, growth tracking, and daily logging;
• Generate weekly insights and patterns personalized to your baby;
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service and develop new features;
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you;
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information or your baby's information to sell advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Cry audio & AI analysis

When you record a cry, the audio is processed so our AI can estimate a likely cause and suggest a next step. We treat cry audio with particular care:

• Audio is captured only when you actively start a recording.
• Audio is used to produce your analysis result and to help improve the quality and accuracy of the Service.
• We never sell cry audio, and we never use it for advertising.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where required by law (for example, under the GDPR), we process personal data on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. How we share information

We share information only in limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted vendors who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting, database, and analytics providers such as Google Firebase), bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal requirements — when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.
• With your direction — when you choose to export or share your data (for example, with your pediatrician).

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• Edit or delete baby profiles and logged entries within the app;
• Delete your account and associated data from the app's settings;

We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Children's data

Lullaby AI is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children. Information about a baby (such as a name, date of birth, or weight) is provided by an adult caregiver and is used solely to deliver the Service to that caregiver. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any vulnerabilities we become aware of.

11. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
